who we are
SolarBio was founded Atty. Ricardo “Gao” Pronove, who was exposed to renewable energy from his long climate change experience with United Nations in Geneva and Bonn. Gao originated Silay Solar which was acquired by Citicore and helped found UGEP. Gao is also the President of the Philippine Biomass Association.
SolarBio is allied with Clean Renewable Energy Solutions Philippines (CRESPHIL) led by Engineer Jose Silvestre “Sly” Natividad. Sly is a seasoned hydropower expert and is the President of PhilHydro, the leading hydropower association in the Philippines. SolarBio is also allied with SnapEnergy Biomass Corporation, a biomass fuel provider. Together, the associations cover the full spectrum of renewable energy – solar, biomass, hydro, and wind.
